Feeding animals

The game "Feed the animals" is for 1 - 4 players and for children between 3 - 6 years. One game lasts approx. 15 min. 
The box has a size of 19 x 28 x 6 cm.

In the children's game "Around the calendar", the question is what the animals like to eat best. There is a rustling in the grass! There is a hedgehog. Where does this prickly animal live and what does it like to eat best? The children first choose the habitat and then find out who lives there. This is how the hedgehog lives in the meadow. Little by little, the children fill the habitat cards with other animals. The matching puzzle cut-outs show whether what they are doing is correct. When inserting the pieces, the children train their fine motor skills. To make sure that each animal is full and happy, the animals are fed with the right food.

To feed the animals, the children draw food piece cards from the fabric bag and assign them to the appropriate animal. For example, the hedgehog likes to eat snails. Children are supported in their thirst for knowledge and discovery through the game "Feed the animals". The description of the animals and their habitats also promotes the children's language development. There is also a variant in which one player draws an animal card face down from the cloth bag, describes the animal or imitates sounds, while the others guess which animal it is. If the game is repeated frequently, the characteristics of the animals are memorised by everyone.
