Penguin Parade

If the thermometer drops below 10 degrees centigrade (50 degrees Fahrenheit) in winter from the start of November to the end of February, you can waddle through Zoo Zurich on a short tour with our King Penguins daily at 13:30. A unique experience for your winter zoo visit.

Whether or not the penguin parade takes place depends on the day. Please check information on the particular day from about 09:00.

To ensure that everyone involved enjoys the Penguin Parade, we ask you to observe the following rules.

Rules of behaviour:

• Do not touch the penguins.
• Keep your distance – even while taking photos or filming.
• Do not walk alongside the penguins.
• Generally move slowly, do not run around.
• Keep an eye on children and hold small children in your arms.
• Follow the instructions of the zookeepers and volunteers.
• And in general: the penguins always have the right of way.
