Masoala Express

The Masoala Express is currently on winter break. It will be back in service in Spring 2026.

The Masoala Express runs during the summer season from the main entrance via Kaeng Krachan Elephant Park and Masoala Rainforest to Lewa Savanna.

Tickets are available directly from the train driver or at the guest centre.

Price

CHF 2 per journey and person aged 6 and over
CHF 2 per child for kindergarten and day care centres

Payment options: on the train with Twint or credit card; cash at the guest centre.

Riding time

Main entrance -> Kaeng Krachan Elephant Park: 7 minutes
Main entrance -> Masoala Rainforest: 10 minutes
Main entrance -> Lewa Savannah: 12 minutes
