On the track of nature
Do you know the animals and trees of our forests?
What is that? An elongated paw print with four toes... Who does this track belong to? Aha - the big brown hare has run past here. In the game "On the trail of nature" by RAVENSBURGER, the children find out together which tracks belong to foxes, deer, wood mice and co. The young players, alias explorers, are very careful when doing this, because otherwise the time turntable will keep turning, and the animals should all be in their home forest in time for darkness after all. Logical thinking and concentration are required. If all the tracks are recognised, the players have all won together. As a variation, they assign the appropriate leaves and fruits to the forest trees. Soon the children are experts when it comes to the local forests and its inhabitants: because in addition, the cards reveal further interesting information about the animals and trees - but the children are sure to tell this during their next visit to the forest. "On the trail of nature", like the other games from the "Spielend Neues Lernen" series, enables kindergarten children and primary school pupils to follow their interests and expand their knowledge through play.
