    Three questions for Maria Eduarda

Your motivation for the Pantanal project?

To see that our work successfully contributes to the conservation of the hyacinth macaw in the wild and thus also helps biodiversity in general.

An unforgettable moment in your project?

When I was able to monitor a chick hatch in the incubator, grow up and develop into a healthy young bird – and finally take its first flight in the wild.

Your greatest wish for your project?

That we manage to maintain a viable population of hyacinth macaws in the wild, in the medium and long term.
