Nighttime Ramble for private groups
What do the animals do when people leave the zoo in the evening? Find out during the Nighttime Ramble and get to know the zoo from a different perspective. Here you can book the Nighttime Rample exclusively for your own private group (min. 10 people), either in the Mongolian Steppe or in the Lewa Savanna.

Zoo admission and VAT are included in the prices quoted.
There are 3 yurts available for a maximum of 10 people per yurt (i.e. a maximum of 30 people in total).
Adult nighttime Ramble
For people aged 16 and over.

- Minimum package CHF 2300.–
Family Nighttime Ramble
Specially designed for families with children (6–15 years).
- Per adult CHF 139.–
- Per child CHF 119.–
- Minimum package CHF 2300.–
Note: Children aged 6 and over may take part in this event. Infants and babies are not permitted.
There are 8 tents available for a maximum of 4 people per tent (i.e. a maximum of 32 people in total).

Mongolian steppe
Itinerary
Start at 6:30 p.m., move into night camp at approx. 10:30 p.m., sleep at 11 p.m. End of the event at approx. 09:30 am the next morning. You can also spend the rest of the day at the zoo.
Catering
The price includes admission to the zoo for the following day, an evening snack at approx. 9 p.m., overnight stay and breakfast.
Dinner: African chicken with rice (meat) or Masoala curry with rice (vegetarian/vegan).
What to bring
The overnight stay takes place in yurts. You will need: sleeping bag, pyjamas and washing utensils. Folding mattresses (approx. 10 cm) are provided by Zoo Zurich. Please note: The yurts are not heated.
Language
The language of the Nighttime Ramble is German. It is available in French, English and Italian on request for school classes and private groups.
Lewa Savanna
Itinerary
Start at 6:30 p.m., move into night camp at approx. 10:30 p.m., sleep at 11 p.m. End of the event at approx. 9:30 am the next morning. You can also spend the rest of the day at the zoo.
