From the end of January to the end of March always on Thursday, Friday & Saturday.
What
- Admission to the illuminated Masoala rainforest after the zoo closes
- Aperitif in the rainforest on Thursday, cocktails in the rainforest and aperitif in the centre of nature conservation on Friday & Saturday
- Exclusive served dinner in the rainforest on Thursday, exclusive dinner with large dessert buffet in the Masoala restaurant on Friday & Saturday
- Drinks à discrétion
- Accompanied by zoo guides; they will be available to answer your questions about the Masoala Rainforest and its animals from 6pm to 9pm.
- The minimum age for this event is 16 years.

Please consider the following tips for the best possible experience of «Masoala by Night»:
Exploring the rainforest
You may explore the rainforest at any time. Please always stay on the main paths in the guest area and do not take any glasses and/or food with you on your exploration tours. The adventure trails are closed. Out of consideration for the animals, flashlights are not permitted and we ask you to take photographs without a flash.
Clothing
The Masoala rainforest has high humidity (80% and higher). The evening temperature at this time of year is around 20 degrees.
The Masoala restaurant is normally air-conditioned.
Seating arrangements
You have a fixed seat for dinner. You can therefore explore the rainforest and return to your table at any time.
Fixed times
- Latest arrival: 7pm
- We ask you to take your seat by 8:30pm at the latest so that you can enjoy the evening to the full
- End of the evening: 10:30pm
CLOSED COMPANY
«Masoala by Night» can also be booked exclusively on Friday & Saturday for groups of 100 or more, for example as a company or club event.
GROUPS
We are happy to accept group inquiries from 15 people at erlebnis@zoo.ch.
