Amphibians in danger

The content of the exhibition «Amphibians in Danger» in the Exotarium is the acute threat to amphibians: one third of all species are endangered, more than 400 are on the verge of extinction. Zoo Zurich supports the preservation of species through its own breeding projects and financial participation in conservation projects. The exhibition explains the causes and background of amphibian extinction and the biology of amphibians.
