Three questions for Citra
Your motivation for the Sumatra project?
Love. Because I love nature. And I love the people.
An unforgettable moment in your project?
Every moment when I am alone in the forest and enjoy how orderly and balanced nature is. Also, when I visited the local communities and discovered their strong urge – despite feelings of helplessness – to protect nature.
Your greatest wish for your project?
That the Jantho Nature Reserve and all its inhabitants are protected by the surrounding communities from generation to generation. That the people of these communities actively participate in the management of the reserve, recognize the value of the ecosystem and benefit from protecting it themselves.
«My wish is that the surrounding communities protect the Jantho Nature Reserve, from generation to generation.»
