Habitat	Coral reefs in bays and lagoons, as well as outer reefs at depths of up to 40 meters
Behaviour	Adult animals are solitary, young fish congregate in shoals
Diet	Worms, mussels, crustaceans, brittle stars und sea urchins
Body length	25 to 30 cm
Spawn	broadcast spawner, no brood-care
Use	Fishkeeping
Current status	relatively common in its distribution range
