    Three questions for Apinya

What is your motivation for the Kaeng Krachan project?

Our project site has been experiencing conflicts between humans and elephants. My aim is to enable a peaceful coexistence of humans and wildlife, with a focus on elephant conservation.

An unforgettable moment in your project?

Successfully reducing conflicts between elephants and the local population and improving the safety of both sides. Also: Observing a large herd of elephants and their young, ensuring the survival of this iconic species for future generations.

Your biggest wish for your project?

To further reduce elephant deaths due to poaching or conflict with humans and instead ensure that the elephant population grows. To ensure the peaceful coexistence of local communities and wildlife and thus secure a sustainable future for generations to come.
