Barrier-free zoo homepage

Some years ago the Zürich Zoo was able to introduce a barrier-free website. This could be done due to our co-operation with the Swiss Federation of the Blind and with financial aid of the Lions Club Herrliberg.

The site is regularly visited by visually handicapped fans of the zoo. Partially sighted and blind visitors are welcome at the zoo, we have specially trained guides who accompany individuals or groups on their visit.
