Directions via private transportation
Direct access to the zoo: Once leaving motorway A1, exit 65 in the direction Dübendorf / Wallisellen. Alternatively, you can also find the zoo via Zurich city.

There is parking in the zoo vicinity with a fee of -.50/hour. If these are already occupied, you will be directed toward parking further away. You can reach the zoo by foot or tram/ bus from your parking space. Especially on Sundays and holidays, these parking spnear the zoo are all occupied. Please follow our advice and consider the information about the day's traffic conditions.
By car on Sundays and public holidays
Parking is especially difficult to find on sunny Sundays, public holidays and vacations. All bays are normally occupied between 10am and 4pm on these days.
Park+Ride-Offer
As soon as the car parks near the zoo are occupied, you will be directed by signs towards special parking areas further away (follow the "P+R Zoo" signs). From there you can swiftly reach the zoo by Zurich public transportation means.
Parking garage Hohe Promenade, near Kunst- and Schauspielhaus Zurich
Park at the Hohe Promenade parking facility. Continue your journey by tram no.5 from tram stop Kunsthaus right to the zoo. Please do pay for the parking fees at the paying machines and buy a tram ticket at the ticket machine at the tram stop. Parking at the Hohe Promenade facility is also possible when the "P+R-Zoo" signs are not active.
